Spectral Editing used to be something that only the very brave would dip their toe into. Steinberg’s SpectraLayers has been one of the products that has dramatically changed that over the last five years or so. Now, even highly complex editing tasks – including things that, frankly, ought to be classed as audio magic such as unmixing stems from a stereo mix – can now be undertaken by anyone with just a few clicks.
The latest iteration of SpectraLayers Pro – version 13 – takes that development further again and some of the new audio and dialog repair and enhancement tools are particularly impressive. So, if you want to see inside your audio and undertaken some truly surgical editing tasks with ease…. then check out the full review here to see what’s possible….
