I have to say that reviewing the Softube Flow Studio hardware was an absolute highlight of my music tech year to date. It feels very well made, is sensibly priced, and packs a lot of functionality into a small footprint. The bundled plugins sound great but I was also able to use it with the full Flow Mixing Suite bundle which I also reviewed for SOS a few months ago.
The key design element for me was how the hardware encourages a very streamlined approach to mixing workflow….. fewer deep dives into your processing chain and, instead, some key ‘macro’ style controls under your hand at all times.
