I really love what Toontrack do…. Their ‘EZ trio’ gets very regular use in my own music production work but, if you need that extra bit of flexibility for your virtual drum sounds, then Superior Drummer 3 will have you covered.
Don’t forget to add a few sound expansions though to broaden the palette of drum sounds you have available though…. and amongst the latest tempting offerings on that from is the Drumopolis SDX. Recording in Metropolis studios in London, with Tony Visconti in charge, this is a treasure trove of classic drum sounds. Anyway, for the full details, check out the review in SOS….
