Pretty much every DAW now offers some form of pitch correction within it’s feature set but, in terms of industry standard 3-rd party options, the two products that would lie at the top of the current tree, would be Antares AutoTune and Celemony’s Melodyne. Both are – for different reasons – very impressive and deserve their status.
However, I do think they might have a serious competitor in Vovious. It is perhaps more akin to Melodyne in terms of mode of operation (it’s a pitch editing tool rather than offering a real-time automatic pitch correction option like AutoTune)…. but it is truely impressive, both in the transparency and quality of the pitch shifting that’s possible but also in the design of the UI and it’s toolset.
I seriously hope it’s a product that gains some traction; it certainly deserve to…. so check out the full SOS review here….
