If you hang about in the music technology section of YouTube, the odds are you will be familiar with Dom Sigalas. Dom does a lot of stuff with Steinberg covering Cubase, SpectraLayers and other items from the Steinberg product line. On his own YouTube channel, he creates lots of excellent content covering new products and techniques-based topics. This is all done with constant enthusiasm, it’s super-positive, always well informed and delivered with a production quality that would put many mainstream TV/film producers to shame.
However, his YouTube activity sits alongside his own music composition, mixing and mastering work. And, in a related thread to his already busy schedule, Dom develops virtual instruments. I was lucky enough to get to try his latest release on that front – the Modern 80s Kit MAX V2 – and it appears he is just as good at this strand of his activities as his YouTube content.
