It’s always rather cool to explore some of the more niche sample libraries out there. A case in point; I’ve looked at a couple of the Edu Prado Sounds libraries recently and been suitably impressed. Dark Mandolin keeps that standard going and, while you can coax some conventional mandolin sounds out of it, for me the highlight is the more creative – cinematic – sounds it offers. And it does so and a very friendly price….
