We are all very used to the idea of using virtual instruments within our music production workflow. Within Cubase, tools such as Groove Agent SE and HALion Sonic provide a great platform for things such as virtual drums, guitars, bass, synths, pianos, orchestral instruments and a whole lot more. And, whether or not these virtual sounds make it into your final project mix, they make great options as you develop and experiment with the initial musical ideas….
On that front, Yamaha’s Omnivocal – included in a ‘beta’ form with Cubase 15 Pro, Artist and Elements – now provides you with the same ‘virtual instrument’ flexibility for vocals.
