If the piano keyboard is not really your instrument of choice, creating interesting parts for some of your virtual instrument sounds can often require you to lean in to a bit of technological support. Artist and Pro users can use MIDI Insert plugins for this processes and the stock MIDI plugin collection included a couple of arpeggiator options.
However, if you want a solution that works within all versions of Cubase – and lets you design your own arpeggio patterns – simple or complex – from scratch, the the Chord Pads system might be worth a look. Check out the video tutorial below to find out more 🙂
