A lot of my music production revolves around the use of virtual instruments. One industry standard option that features heavily in that workflow is Native Instrument’s Kontakt which provides a front-end for a whole universe of sound/sample library options. However, the full version of Kontakt is not cheap….
So, if you might be interested in a somewhat less expensive version of a similar concept, you might well take a look at AudioModern’s Soundbox. Yes, it’s very streamlined compared to something like Kontakt, and no, it perhaps doesn’t have a same array of sound libraries you can use with it…. but the available sounds are great, it is very easy to use and it is very affordable.
