I really to love what Sonuscore do and their orchestral virtual instrument The Score is a brilliant bit of software technology. However, if you want a more contemporary sound set – or perhaps something to add to The Score for a hybrid sound – then The Pulse is going to be of considerable interest.
The Pulse is built on the same underlying Kontakt-based engine as The Score but features a more modern focussed sound set – synths, drum sounds, sound FX, etc. – ideal for lots of modern TV, film or video game compositional work. The built-in performance engine makes generating initial ideas really easy – it’s inspiring to use – and yet you also get full control over every note of the performance if you prefer….
