Some software – virtual instruments included – turns out to be a triumph of slick looks over actual substance. BioRhythms is the opposite of that. The UI – while very functional – will perhaps not win Zero-G any prizes but the concept and content are actually very good. These are very usable rhythmic samples that you can blend and tweak in a whole range of ways and it just works…. Read the review here but this is compact, easy-to-use, and sensibly priced source of drum and percussion loops that media composers would be able to get plenty of use from.
