Native Instruments Schema: Light

NI’s Kontakt has become a pretty vital component of my (and many others) music producer workflow over the its lengthy life-span. I’ve lost count of the number of Kontakt libraries I’ve been lucky enough to explore in that time but there always seems to be something interesting and new to find. In this case, it’s Schema: Light, for which there are no prizes for guessing that it’s the ‘lighter sounds’ version of the excellent Schema: Dark which has been around for a couple of years or so….

The engine is the same, but the sounds are more high frequency orientated and percussive in nature. Like its older sibling, however, Schema: Light is just as weird and wonderful. No, not perhaps a mainstream choice, but film, TV and other media composers will find lots of quirky experiments in sound to be had. Read the full review here to find out more….
