I’ve always liked the concept of Harrison’s Mixbus. The workflow that mimics some of the attractions of working with a hardware recording console has a lot going for it. As it happens, just before I got Mixbus 11 in to review for SOS, I’d installed a new, large format, monitor on my main studio computer. Seeing the Mixbus Console at 4K resolution on a screen large enough that you could actually see every channel strip control on 30+ channels at the same time was… well…. pretty epic actually.
