Cubase Workshop – Managing The Low Mids With Frequency 2

Mud in your mix can easily become a problem if you have lots of instrument competing for that 200-500Hz range. Conventional EQ can, of course, be used to manage the situation but dynamic EQ – essentially a compression process but only operating over a specific frequency range – provides a more sophisticated approach.

There are some great 3rd-party options you can buy for this task but, if you are a Cubase Pro user, then the stock Frequency 2 EQ plugin has plenty to offer. Want to see some mud getting managed? Then check out the workshop article here….
